Help your employees look after their health without leaving the workplace. Republikas laukuma klīnika provides on-site visits by a general practitioner and a nurse to companies in Riga, offering individual health consultations and, when needed, an electrocardiogram (ECG) and blood sample collection.
This is a voluntary, employer-funded health check offered as an additional employee benefit. It does not replace mandatory occupational health examinations.
What does an employee health check include?
During the consultation, the GP discusses the employee’s wellbeing, symptoms, medical history and current medications. The doctor assesses individual health risks and provides practical recommendations for further care.

- Personalised health recommendations.
- Advice on further tests or specialist consultations, if needed.
- An on-site visit by a GP and nurse within Riga.
An ECG and blood sample collection are available on site when needed. Additional investigations are selected according to the employee’s health needs and the agreed payment arrangements.

The following prices apply to 15–20 employees during one on-site visit in Riga.

* Laboratory testing fees are additional. These examples assume that every employee in the group receives the services shown. The per-employee price applies to participation in a group of 15–20.
ECGs and blood tests are performed when needed, rather than automatically for everyone. The company pays for services actually provided within the agreed scope.
Final cost calculation: €70 × number of employees examined + €20 × number of ECGs performed + €10 × number of blood sample collection appointments + total laboratory testing fees.
If a further doctor’s consultation is needed to discuss laboratory results, its arrangements and price are agreed separately before the service is provided.
For other group sizes or visits outside Riga, we prepare an individual quotation.
How does the workplace health check work?
- We agree on the visit. We confirm the date, location, number of employees, services included and payment arrangements for additional investigations.
- Employees receive individual appointment times. Each employee is allocated a consultation slot and completes a short health questionnaire before the check.
- The GP and nurse visit your workplace. The nurse takes measurements, and the GP conducts an individual consultation. An ECG or blood sample collection can be provided if needed.
- Employees receive personalised recommendations. The doctor explains the findings available during the appointment and recommends further steps. Laboratory results are provided to the employee once they are ready.
What does your company need to provide?
Your company should provide a quiet, private room suitable for confidential consultations, with a table, chairs and access to electricity.
If ECG examinations are planned, we will also agree in advance on a suitable space where the employee can lie down during the examination.
Allow approximately 20 minutes for each consultation. Additional investigations may require more time. If blood tests are planned, the clinic will provide preparation instructions in advance.
Voluntary and confidential
Participation is voluntary. Individual medical information, test results and the doctor’s recommendations are provided directly to the employee. The employer does not receive employees’ diagnoses or individual laboratory results.
