Purposes and grounds for data processing
We process data in the following cases and for the following purposes:
- Communication with clients: When you write an e-mail, call, or use WhatsApp, we process your name, phone number or e-mail, and the content of the message. Legal basis: Your consent and actions prior to concluding a contract (to provide information about the service).
- Service booking: If you use the link to Piearsta.lv, your data is processed according to the rules of that platform to ensure appointment scheduling.
- Special category (health) data: If you provide information about your health during communication, we process it with the highest level of confidentiality solely for the purpose of planning medical services.
Video surveillance
Video surveillance is carried out in the Clinic’s premises (Rīga, Republikas laukums 3–18) for security purposes and the prevention of criminal offenses.
- Purpose: Safety of persons and property, investigation of incidents.
- Legal basis: The Clinic’s legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- Storage: Video recordings are stored for up to 30 days. If they are not required for incident investigation, they are automatically deleted after this period.
- Access: Recordings can only be accessed by authorized personnel or law enforcement agencies upon a justified request.
